Rita Henn and Partners Inc. are proud to announce the opening of their new practice in Vereeniging on the 1st of February 2010! This is the second practice in our stable. We are expecting to spread our wings a little further in the year/s to come so watch this space…. We are very excited about bringing our brand of rehabilitation to the Vaal triangle and we look forward to working with the professionals and the community of this area.
Our practice is based in the Medi Village Complex of the Care Cure Vereeniging Clinic (Opposite Medi Clinic), corner Joubert Street and Grey Avenue, Vereeniging. We have a complete team of a physiotherapist, occupational therapist and speech therapist based at this practice.
We will be offering a comprehensive range of services on an in-patient and out-patient basis that would include:
· Mobilisation post surgey
· Teaching and consolidating independence with activities of daily living
· Home and work visits
· Patient and carer education programmes
· Gait re education and training
· Splinting/serial casting
· Seating assessments for optimal seating and pressure care
· Vital Stim Therapy together with swallowing therapy for the management of Dysphagia
· Alternative and Augmentative communication Clinic (AAC)
Our rehabilitation programmes are individually tailored for both adults and children with the following conditions:
· Spinal cord injuries
· Strokes
· Traumatic brain injuries
· Other neurological conditions
· Joint replacements
· Amputations
· Fractures/orthopaedic conditions
· Burns
